The Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of large infrastructure projects with state participation

The Russian government has expanded the list of major infrastructure projects with state participation. This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The updated list includes facilities for healthcare, education and science, road and housing and communal services, and urban improvement. There are 25 new positions in total. These projects will be financed within the framework of state programs and from the funds of the National Welfare Fund.

The list includes the construction of the Kamchatka Regional hospital (stage 2), the regional maternity hospital in Magadan, the children's infectious diseases hospital in Omsk, the children's regional hospital in Tver, the children's hospital complex in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the multidisciplinary medical center in Magnitogorsk, as well as the reconstruction of the buildings of the Emergency Medical Center in Taganrog.

Also on the list is the construction of the innovative hematology and cell therapy building of the NMITS of Hematology, the world-class interuniversity Baikal campus and the world-class Mercury campus of the P.A.Solovyov Russian State Pedagogical University.

In addition, the list includes: construction and reconstruction of roads, including sections of highways R-215 Astrakhan – Kochubey – Kizlyar – Makhachkala, R-256 Chuisky Tract, A-121 Sortavala, R-21Kola and R-22 Kaspiy; construction of the embankment from the boardwalk in the city of Svetlogorsk to the port in the city of Pionersky, Kaliningrad region, reconstruction of sewage treatment plants in Yevpatoria, as well as the construction of a water intake on the Assa River in Ingushetia.

All projects are under special control of government agencies. This makes it possible to eliminate corruption violations and increase the efficiency of spending budget funds and NWF funds, the report emphasizes.
