Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree "On measures to settle debts in 2023".
In accordance with the resolution, the deadline for submitting claims for payment of tax arrears and the application of recovery measures in 2023 may be increased, but not by more than 6 months.
It is stipulated that from January 1 to June 30, 2023, penalties will not be accrued in cases when the taxpayer made mistakes when forming a notification of calculated taxes or did not send it at all.
