The Government of the Russian Federation has extended the deadline for payment of mineral extraction tax and insurance premiums for coal industry companies until November 30, 2025. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, until the specified date, coal companies will not be subject to penalties for tax debts and insurance premium arrears incurred on June 1, 2025, provided that bankruptcy proceedings have not been initiated against debtor organizations.
The Ministry of Energy will form a list of organizations eligible for such support measures based on applications from companies. After it is formed, it will be submitted to the Federal Tax Service.
