The Russian government has extended a ban on the export of diesel fuel, marine fuel and gas oil to producers of petroleum products. The ban is valid until July 31, 2026. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

A complete ban on the export of diesel fuel has been established in order to maintain a stable situation in the domestic fuel market, the Cabinet of Ministers emphasizes.

At the same time, the restrictions will not apply, among other things, to diesel fuel exported from the Russian Federation under international intergovernmental agreements.

The government imposed a temporary ban on diesel fuel exports at the end of January 2026. Prior to this resolution, the ban applied to those who do not produce diesel fuel.
