Kurgan and Jewish Autonomous Regions will be written off two thirds of the debt on budget loans totaling about 1 billion rubles. This was announced by the Russian Government.
The regional authorities will be able to use the released resources to implement promising projects in various sectors of the economy, create favorable conditions for business, and create a comfortable environment for citizens.
The cancellation of two thirds of the debt owed to the federal budget is one of the effective mechanisms initiated by the President to support the regions. The mechanism is applied subject to the targeted use of the released funds for the programs that are most in demand in the regions.
