From March 1 to August 31, 2024, the government of the Russian Federation introduces a ban on gasoline exports and increases the standards for the sale of diesel fuel at stock exchanges. This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers in its telegram channel.

The ban will not apply, among other things, to supplies within the framework of international intergovernmental agreements, including agreements with the EAEU member states, to fuel exported by citizens for personal use, as well as to fuel exported for international humanitarian assistance.

The minimum sales volumes of diesel on the stock exchange are increasing to 16% from 12.5%.
