By September 1, 2925, the Government of the Russian Federation will prepare proposals to reduce the excise tax on liquid steel in order to support electrometallurgical enterprises. This is evidenced by the list of instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin following a meeting with representatives of the business community.
The Head of State also instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare proposals on suspending the payment of this excise tax by metallurgical enterprises when they open new production facilities, defining the period for which its payment is suspended.
