The Bank of Russia has left unchanged the forecast for GDP growth in 2024-2027. In 2024, the Russian economy will grow by 3.5–4%. In 2025-2026, GDP growth will slow down to 0.5–1.5% and 1-2%, respectively. This is stated in the Central Bank's commentary on the medium-term macroeconomic forecast.
The regulator associates such indicators with an increase in the effects of tight monetary conditions.
Investment demand will continue to grow steadily, reflecting a shift in the structure of the economy towards an increase in the share of investments.
In 2027 , economic growth should stabilize in the range of 1.5–2.5%, which will mean a steady return of the Russian economy to a balanced growth trajectory, the Central Bank emphasizes.
