The Moscow Arbitration Court has satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office for the transfer of assets of the owner of Glavprodukt Group Leonid Smirnov to the state revenue. This is reported by Kommersant.
The decision was made due to the withdrawal of profits abroad, bypassing the counter-sanctions imposed in the Russian Federation. Companies owned by a US citizen illegally transferred 1.3 billion rubles abroad as dividends. Since it turned out to be impossible to recover money from the defendant, the Federal Property Management Agency received his shares of the company.
Glavprodukt Group produces stew and includes more than 30 companies in Moscow, Kaliningrad, Oryol and Moscow regions.
