The draft methodology of the standard of public capital of business (SOCB) was approved by the Council on methodology of ANO "Public Capital". It will be maximally unified with the existing ECG rating and the sustainability reporting standard from the Ministry of Economic Development. This was announced by the press service of Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with international organizations for achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
SOCB will be presented in four versions. All organizations will be divided into large, small and medium-sized enterprises. A complete and abbreviated list of indicators for reporting will be offered for each category. The number of positions in different variants ranges from 87 to 37.
The procedure for companies to participate will be quite simple. The organization submits an application for compliance with the SOCB, and an independent external assessment is not required. The company submits supporting documents through a digital platform, then the standard operator verifies them.
