The Federal Antimonopoly Service has identified signs of unfair competition in the actions of Grotex LLC. The company sent letters to pharmacy chains discrediting a competitor, according to the FAS website.
The Antimonopoly Authority issued a warning to Grotex about the need to stop distributing false information, withdraw previously sent letters and refute the information contained in them, including by publishing the text of the refutation on the website.
Earlier, the FAS was contacted by PJSC Ozon Pharmaceuticals with a report on signs of unfair competition from the manufacturer of medicines Grotex.
The pharmaceutical company sent letters to pharmacy chains with information about the violation of its exclusive rights to drugs for improving the immune system by the Atoll organization, which is part of the same group of persons as Ozon Pharmaceuticals. However, no documents proving the validity of the allegations were submitted.
The company did not comply with the agency's warning within the prescribed period, and therefore the FAS initiated a case.
Grotex LLC (Solopharm) is a full-service pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and manufacture of medicines, medical devices and dietary supplements. The drugs are manufactured at our own production sites in St. Petersburg.
