Federal budget revenues in January-February 2025 amounted to 5.344 trillion rubles. This is 6.3% higher than in the corresponding period of 2024. Expenses increased by 30.6% to 8.045 trillion rubles. The federal budget deficit amounted to 2.701 trillion rubles. This will be announced on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
The oil and gas revenues of the federal budget decreased by 3.7% to 1.56 trillion rubles, mainly due to the one-time receipt of the mineral extraction tax surcharge in February 2024.
Non-oil and gas revenues in January-February amounted to 3.784 trillion rubles. This is 11.1% higher than in the same period of 2024. The increase in turnover tax receipts, including VAT, in January-February amounted to 8.5% compared to the same period last year.
