Federal budget revenues in January-March 2026 amounted to 8.309 trillion rubles, which is 8.2% less than in the corresponding period of 2025. Expenses reached 12.885 trillion rubles (+17%). This will be announced on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
The federal budget deficit in January-March reached 4.576 trillion rubles, which is 2.616 trillion rubles higher than in the same period last year. The Ministry of Finance mainly explains the high deficit at the beginning of the year by outpacing the financing of expenditures within the year.
Non-oil and gas revenues of the federal budget amounted to 6.866 trillion rubles, an increase of 7.1% compared to the same period last year.
Oil and gas revenues amounted to 1.443 trillion rubles, which is 45.4% less than in the same period of the previous year.
