The maximum interest rate on ruble deposits in ten banks attracting the largest volume of deposits from individuals decreased to 14.26% per annum in the second decade of February 2026 from 14.49% in the first decade of February. This is evidenced by the data of the Bank of Russia.

In the third decade of January, the rate was 14.57%, in the second decade - 14.88% per annum, in the first decade - 15.1%, in the third decade of December 2025 - 15.28% per annum, in the second decade - 15.38%, in the first 15.63%, in the third decade of November - 15.62%, in the second decade - 15.5% per annum, in the first decade - 15.32%, in the third decade of October - 15.37%, in the second - 15.45%, in the first decade – 15.46%, in the third decade of September - 15.55%, in the second decade - 15.56%, in the first decade - 15.59% per annum.

On February 13, 2026, the Central Bank lowered the key rate to 15.5%, on December 19, 2025 - to 16% per annum, on October 24 - to 16.5% per annum, on September 12 - to 17%, on July 25 - to 18%, on June 6 - to 20%, on April 25, March 21, February 14, and also on December 20, 2024, he left the key rate of 21% per annum unchanged.
