The Ministry of Finance from December 7 to January 13 will allocate 502 billion rubles for the purchase of currency and gold within the budget rule. Currencies worth 22.8 billion rubles will be purchased daily. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance.

In November, the Ministry of Finance allocated 518.2 billion rubles for the purchase of foreign currency. Currency was purchased daily for 25.9 billion rubles. Thus, in December, the daily volume of currency purchases will be reduced by 12%.

The total deviation of actually received oil and gas revenues from the expected monthly volume of oil and gas revenues and the estimate of the base monthly volume of oil and gas revenues from the base monthly volume of oil and gas revenues by the end of November 2021 amounted to +105.2 billion rubles. A significant adjustment in recent months is due to the outpacing growth of export prices for gas.
