The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has proposed to exempt companies and individual entrepreneurs engaged in the turnover of beer and low-alcohol beverages subject to labeling by means of identification from excessive requirements for the transfer of identical information to information systems. The relevant bill has been prepared by the Ministry, according to the website of the Ministry of Finance.
The bill is formulated in the form of amendments to the law "On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products and on restriction of consumption (drinking) of alcoholic products."
Currently, business entities send information about the turnover of these products to GIS MT, and also duplicate them in the USAIS. In order to optimize the process and reduce the burden on the business, it is proposed to eliminate the requirement for market participants to provide this information to the USAIS.
