The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will finance additional programs to support demand for cars in 2024. This is stated in the message of the ministry.
6.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the program of preferential car loans, 8 billion rubles for preferential leasing. The measures will help to additionally sell more than 36 thousand cars.
Preferential car loans provide a basic discount of 20% (25% for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District); they are valid for medical workers, education workers, participants of the CBO and their family members, citizens with disabilities and families with children in the Far Eastern Federal District.
Preferential car loans apply to cars with internal combustion engines worth up to 2 million rubles, gaining at least 1.6 thousand points for localization; LADA, VIS, UAZ, GAZ and HAVAL Jolion models are included.
In addition, all categories of borrowers can receive a 35% discount on electric vehicles of domestic production (Evolve, Moskvich 3e, Amberauto A5).
Preferential leasing includes all previously existing categories, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and trucks with internal combustion engines (gaining at least 1.6 thousand points for localization), electric vehicles of domestic production and highly automated vehicles; tourist buses are included.
Earlier this year, thanks to demand stimulation programs, more than 82 thousand cars were sold.
