The Ministry of Natural Resources and Rospotrebnadzor will prepare amendments to the rules for the maintenance of container sites. This was reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers following a meeting on amendments to the current regulatory framework related to the construction and maintenance of container sites for the collection of municipal solid waste.
In addition, the possibility of establishing sanitary requirements for technical waste storage facilities will be worked out, and together with the Russian Environmental Operator, the conditions for the construction of fences for small container sites will be worked out.
During the meeting, issues of administration of the requirements of the current edition of the SanPiN were discussed, requirements for the arrangement of container sites, the frequency of removal of municipal solid waste, as well as proposals for adjusting the distance from sites to residential buildings were discussed.
