The M2 monetary aggregate (money supply) in January 2023 decreased by 0.1% to 82.3 trillion rubles. This is evidenced by the materials of the Bank of Russia.
The regulator notes that the reduction in the ruble money supply in January of this year was noticeably less significant than a year earlier. Its annual growth rate increased to 26% from 24.4% on January 1, 2023.
The Bank of Russia has started the monthly publication of "Estimates of the money supply" based on operational data on the dynamics of monetary aggregates (M0, M1, M2 and broad money supply).
