The volume of the mortgage portfolio of Russian banks in February 2023 increased by 1.5% to 14.4 trillion rubles. compared to the previous month. This is reported in the materials of the Bank of Russia.
The regulator notes that the mortgage growth rate in February was below the monthly average for 2021 (+2.3%).
The issuance of market mortgages increased by 40% to 210 billion rubles, mortgages with state support - by 64% to 209 billion rubles. "Preferential mortgages" in February were issued by 90 billion rubles against 62 billion rubles in January.
"Family mortgage" became the most popular in February after the conditions of the main state programs changed at the beginning of the year. Disbursements for this type of mortgage programs increased 1.8 times to 100 billion rubles.
