The State Duma adopted in the third reading the law on the federal budget for 2023 and the planning period of 2024 and 2025. This is reported by the press service of the lower house of parliament.
Within three years, the budget will be in deficit: in 2023, the deficit will be 2% of GDP, in 2024 – 1.4% of GDP, in 2025 – 0.7% of GDP. The main source of covering the deficit will be state borrowing.
Budget revenues for 2023 are planned at 26.13 trillion rubles (17.4% of GDP), expenditures - 29.056 trillion (19.4% of GDP). In 2024, budget revenues should increase to 27.24 trillion rubles, in 2025 - to 27.98 trillion rubles, expenditures - to 29.43 trillion and 29.24 trillion rubles, respectively.
According to the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, this budget was the most difficult in recent years. "Sanctions, the development of the world economy is almost impossible to predict," - said V.Volodin.
