Mutual trade between the Union State countries increased by 3% in 2025. Imports from Belarus increased by almost 7%, while Russian exports remained roughly at the level of 2024. This will be reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with reference to the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.

The cumulative integration effect last year amounted to more than 1% of the Union State's GDP, which is more than 2.2 trillion rubles.

An important trend is the change in the structure of trade turnover: the share of energy resources is decreasing, giving way to high—margin products such as machinery, equipment, light industry goods and food, M.Reshetnikov emphasized.

In addition, according to him, significant progress has been made in the industrial sector: unified approaches have been introduced to determine the level of localization of manufactured products, and access to state support tools is being coordinated.
