The trade turnover between Russia and Belarus increased by almost 4% to 4 trillion rubles in January-November 2025. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development with reference to Vladimir Ilyichev, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Russia.
According to him, qualitative changes have taken place in the structure of trade. The share of energy resources decreased by 3.8 percentage points, the share of machinery and equipment increased by 4.5 percentage points, and supplies of light industry goods increased by 0.6 percentage points. The Russian Federation is increasing supplies of high-margin products to Belarus – machinery, equipment and light industry goods.
In addition, food supplies from Russia are growing – pork, sunflower oil and rapeseed seeds. In turn, supplies of cheeses, cottage cheese, cattle meat and textiles increased from Belarus to Russia.
