The trading volume on the Moscow Stock Exchange markets in January 2025 amounted to 105.4 trillion rubles, which is 2.3% less than in the same period of 2024. This is evidenced by the exchange's message.

The trading volume of shares, depositary receipts and units reached 3.3 trillion rubles against 1.8 trillion rubles in January 2024.

Trading in corporate, regional and government bonds amounted to 1.4 trillion rubles. excluding one-day bonds.

In the total volume of money market trading, the volume of repo transactions with a central counterparty reached 31.7 trillion rubles, and the volume of repo transactions with clearing certificates of participation reached 36.3 trillion rubles.

In January, 55 bond loans from 52 issuers, including four new issuers, were placed on the stock market of the exchange. The total volume of placement and repurchase of bonds amounted to 838.1 billion rubles.

The trading volume in the futures market amounted to 8.3 trillion rubles, in the money market – 85.6 trillion rubles.
