The turnover of public catering in the Russian Federation in 2024 amounted to 3.44 trillion rubles, an increase of 9% compared to 2023. This was reported by Rosstat.
In December 2024, catering turnover increased by 10.7% year-on-year to 339.2 billion rubles, compared with November - by 9.6%. Compared to two years ago, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, the indicator increased by 23.5% after a 20.1% increase a month earlier.
The growth of paid services to the population in 2024 amounted to 3.3% after a 6.9% increase in 2023. In December, the growth was 2.1% compared to the 2.4% increase in November.
