In Moscow, the volume of cosmetics, detergents, perfumes, paint coatings and other chemical products increased by 34.1% year-on-year in January 2025. The volume of shipments increased 1.5 times to 20.3 billion rubles. This is reported by the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
In particular, 3.8 thousand tons of coating materials, 7.2 thousand tons of detergents, 17.6 million packages of hair products, and 8.6 million units of skin care products were produced in the capital.
Currently, about 260 enterprises are involved in this industry, employing over 25,000 employees.
