The volume of commodity trading in Russia in 2022 increased by 4% to 1.5 trillion rubles. The number of active bidders and their clients increased by 46%. This was reported by the press service of the Bank of Russia.
The segment of petroleum products occupies 92% of the market, its volume exceeded 1.4 trillion rubles. Natural gas transactions decreased by 15% to RUB 21.9 billion.
In the agricultural market, the volume of exchange transactions increased 5-fold to 71.4 billion rubles. More than 4 million cubic meters of wood worth 5.9 billion rubles were sold on the market of timber and building materials.
