The volume of loans granted to SMEs in November decreased by 3.9%

In the Russian Federation, in November 2021, SME entities were granted loans for 938.2 billion rubles, which is 3.9% less than the previous month. On an annual basis, the volume of lending increased 1.5 times. This is evidenced by the data of the Bank of Russia.

The average size of the loan provided to the borrower – the subject of SMEs decreased by 0.8 million rubles compared to the previous month to 4.5 million rubles.

SMEs were granted 207.532 thousand loans, which is 13.2% more than in October. The number of SMEs that received a loan increased by 11.9% and reached 182.013 thousand.

In the structure of loans, the largest share fell on loans to borrowers operating in industries: "Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" - 43.5%, "Manufacturing" - 12.3% and "Construction" - 10.1%.
