The volume of transactions with precious metals in the main trading mode on the Moscow Stock Exchange in June 2026 increased 2.8 times to 385.5 billion rubles year-on-year. This is reported on the exchange's website.
The volume of gold transactions increased 2.7 times to 373.1 billion rubles. compared to the same period in 2025, it amounted to 37.5 tons.
The volume of silver trading reached 10.9 billion rubles. (69.9 tons), platinum – 753 million rubles (0.2 tons), palladium – 699 million rubles (0.2 tons).
In physical terms, the trading volume of gold increased 2.3 times, silver - 12.7 times, platinum - 1.6 times, palladium – 3 times. In monetary terms, the volume of silver trading increased 15.8 times, platinum - 2.2 times, palladium – 3.2 times.
The share of private investors in gold trading was 1.7%, silver – 41.2%, platinum – 24.3%, palladium – 30%.
On the precious metals market of the Moscow Stock Exchange, investors have access to transactions with gold, silver, platinum and palladium secured by physical metal in storage. Trades and settlements are conducted in rubles with the participation of a central counterparty, whose functions are performed by the National Clearing Center.
