The volume of Russian business transactions on the Moscow Exchange money market in the first half of 2026 reached 180 trillion rubles. This is 42% higher than in the same period of 2025, according to the exchange's website.
Most of these operations are short-term. In the second quarter, legal entities placed funds on the money market for an average of 2.3 days at 14.22%, and attracted funds for 3 days at a rate of 14.31%.
The number of corporate clients of the non-financial sector who concluded transactions on the Moscow Exchange money market increased by 17% to 9.6 thousand in the first half of 2026. Of these, 9.4 thousand work through brokerage companies.
