TMK Neftegazservice (TMK NGS) has completed automation of one of the stages of control of geometric parameters of pipes — templating — at the TMK NGS-Buzuluk production site. This will increase the production of tubing and ensure their high quality, TMK said in a statement.
Templating is the process of controlling the passage (smallest) inner diameter and overall curvature of pipes. Previously, the operation was performed manually. Our specialists have improved the existing infrastructure to automate the process. Then they replaced the control panel, installed an automation cabinet, and implemented proprietary software.
