The trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan in 2024, according to preliminary data, increased by 5.2% to $10 billion. There is an increase in both Russian exports and imports from Uzbekistan. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation stressed the significant potential of interregional cooperation in terms of further expanding trade, economic and investment ties between the two countries.
Positive dynamics is also observed in the tourism sector: by the end of 2024, Russian tourists made 515 thousand trips to Uzbekistan.
