The August Deep Processing plant in the city of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory, has received a certificate from the international body GULFTIC-ICSC HALAL. The document confirms compliance with the GSO 2055-1 standard, which regulates the requirements for halal food products at all stages — from obtaining raw materials to packaging and logistics. This is stated in the message of the GAP "Resource".
The requirements of the Persian Gulf countries are traditionally considered to be among the strictest in the world. To meet these requirements, the company's production control program has been expanded to more than 100 types of studies to determine the residual content of veterinary medicines and pesticides.
The plant is also accredited by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), which is necessary for supplies to the Emirates.
"Passing the certification by the departmental authorities, as well as obtaining the necessary list of certificates, allowed KGP August to produce the first test batch of chopped culinary products under the URUSSA trademark for its further sale to the market of the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East," said Valery Richter, Deputy head of the quality service of PK KGP August".
Another asset of GAP Resurs, Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm in the Tambov region, can also export products to the UAE. The company received the certificate of accreditation of a slaughterhouse outside the UAE (Accreditation certificate of a slaughterhouse outside UAE) from MOCCAE back in 2018 and confirms it annually.
"This document is a mandatory requirement for inclusion in the list of approved suppliers. For the plant, it is necessary, among other things, for the production of poultry meat for import. Without such a permit, the import of products into the UAE is prohibited," said Anna Lukashina, Chief Technologist at Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm.
The Resource Group of agricultural enterprises is one of the largest Russian producers of food products (the brands Blagoyar, Nasha Ptitochka, Dym Dymych, Vladimirsky Standard and others).
