UEC will produce 5 gas pumping units for the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipeline

Rostec United Engine Corporation will produce five GPA-16 gas pumping units with a total capacity of 80 MW for installation at compressor stations of the Sakhalin — Khabarovsk —Vladivostok main gas pipeline. This was announced by Rostec.

The equipment as part of the first interregional gas transportation system in the East of Russia will ensure the transportation of gas from the shelf on Sakhalin to consumers.

The GPA—16 gas pumping unit manufactured by ODK has already been installed at the main compressor station of the Sakhalin gas pipeline. Two new units are planned to be delivered next year, and three more will be delivered to the customer in 2026.

GPA-16 gas pumping units with a capacity of 16 MW are based on industrial PS-90GP2 gas turbine engines manufactured by ODK-Perm Motors.

UEC Engineering is a comprehensive supplier of high-tech gas pumping and energy equipment for UEC enterprises. The company will provide a comprehensive supply of GPA-16 units, as well as supervision, testing and preparation for commissioning at the compressor stations of the Sakhalin — Khabarovsk — Vladivostok gas pipeline.

The Sakhalin — Khabarovsk — Vladivostok gas transportation system with a length of more than 1.8 thousand km is the first interregional gas transportation system in the East of Russia. It is designed to deliver gas to consumers, which is produced on the Sakhalin shelf.
