Unilever sells brands of Calve sauces (in Russia and the CIS) and Baltimore sauces (worldwide) to KDV. The company decided to focus on the production of ice cream and dry seasonings. This is stated in the message of Unilever.

The alienation of the Calve and Baltimore brands is aimed at increasing business performance, as well as maintaining product quality and customer loyalty. The production site in Tula was acquired by KDV in order to preserve the profile, modernize and expand, the report says.

KDV is one of the Russian leaders in the production of confectionery and snacks. KDV is more than 10 factories and 300 thousand hectares of land, where for the needs of its own production, KDV grows wheat, sugar beet, potatoes. Production sites produce more than 800 types of confectionery, snacks, tea, coffee and other products.

Among the popular brands: "Yashkino", "Crocant", Baby fox, "Three crusts", "Kirieshki", "Babkin seeds", Ozera. KDV products are sold in more than 250 thousand locations in Russia and CIS countries, as well as through online channels. The company sells more than 30% of the total production volume for export to the countries of the near and far abroad. KDV conducts export activities in more than 35 countries around the world.

Unilever is one of the leading companies producing cosmetics and personal care products, food and refreshing drinks. The company has brands Dove, Knorr, Hellmann, Lipton, Magnum, Axe, Ben & Jerry's, Degree, and many others. Sales in 2020 amounted to 50.7 billion euros.
