WEB.The Russian Federation has opened financing for PJSC Element to create mass production of power microelectronics components for the civilian market. The total cost of the project is 19.5 billion rubles. Total WEB.The Russian Federation will provide 15 billion rubles under the Cluster Investment Platform program. The first funds will be used to contract long-cycle manufacturing equipment. This is stated in the message of the bank.
The new enterprise will become a serial production of crystals of power diodes and transistors based on silicon and silicon carbide using modern technologies for manufacturing power devices. The design capacity of the plant will allow to produce up to 140 thousand plates per year based on silicon and silicon carbide.
