WEB. The Russian Federation and Arctic Star LLC have signed a loan agreement to establish a world-class interuniversity campus in Arkhangelsk. The state corporation will provide a loan for 8 billion rubles. This is stated in the message of the bank.
At the same time, an agreement with VEB. The Russian Federation will not be the only source of financing for the construction of the Arctic Star. About 1 billion rubles have already been allocated from the budget of the Arkhangelsk region for the implementation of the project. These funds were used primarily for the development of design estimates, as well as for providing technological connection to utility networks, which is critically important for subsequent stages of construction.
The region will receive a significant part of the financing from the federal budget — in total, the amount of funds provided will amount to almost 16 billion rubles. They will be aimed primarily at carrying out construction work, as well as equipping the future campus with modern equipment and infrastructure.
