Russian President Vladimir Putin extended for another year, until December 31, 2023, the validity of Decree No. 520 of August 5, 2022 "On the application of special economic measures in the financial and fuel and energy spheres in connection with the unfriendly actions of some foreign states and international organizations." According to the decree, transactions with securities of Russian companies are prohibited, provided that they belong to foreign persons associated with states that commit unfriendly actions against the Russian Federation. Such operations can be performed only on the basis of a special decision of the President of the Russian Federation. Transactions made in violation of the provisions of this Decree are void.
