Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Government to discuss additional measures aimed at supporting viscous and ultra-viscous oil production projects with oil companies by May 1, 2021. The related instruction of the Russian leader is published on the Kremlin's website.
Vladimir Putin also instructed to consider additional measures to support projects for the development of tight oil reserves, oil production from highly watered wells (including the right to apply the EPT tax on production of hydrocarbons) by May 1.
