When addressing the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to additionally make 45,000 state-financed openings at universities in 2 years, with at least 70 percent of them to be given to Russian regions.
Starting this year, at least 100 universities in the constituent entities of Russia will receive grants in the amount of 100 million rubles or more for opening student tech parks and business incubators, upgrading academic and laboratory facilities, and running training programs. All state universities will be eligible for this support.
