Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed amendments to Articles 5 and 20 of the Federal Law "On the Fundamentals of State Regulation of Trading Activities in the Russian Federation." This is reported on the Kremlin's website.
In accordance with the law, the Government of the Russian Federation will approve a list of agencies authorized to receive information from the Federal Tax Service on companies and entrepreneurs engaged in the trade in food products and related services.
This information will be used by federal executive authorities to monitor, evaluate and comprehensively analyze the dynamics and factors of food prices formation.
