Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed amendments to the law "On the Federal Budget for 2025 and for the planning period of 2026 and 2027." This is reported in the telegram channel of the Ministry of Finance.
The projected volume of federal budget revenues, according to the document, will reach 36.562 trillion rubles, the volume of expenditures remains unchanged and will amount to 42.298 trillion rubles. The deficit is planned at 5.736 trillion rubles. or 2.6% of GDP.
The source of financing the budget deficit will be domestic borrowing, which will increase by 2.2 trillion rubles. The use of NWF funds to cover the budget deficit will not be required. By the end of 2025, the National Welfare Fund is expected to be replenished by 78 billion rubles. At the end of the year, its volume is estimated at 13.6 trillion rubles.
