Vladimir Putin signed the law on excise duty on liquid steel

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation", which establishes an excise tax on operations involving the use of liquid steel for the production of metallurgical products by casting. This is stated in the message of the Kremlin's press service.

The procedure for taxation by the mineral extraction tax of the extraction of commodity ores of ferrous metals, multicomponent complex ores containing copper, nickel, platinum group metals mined in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, coking coal, as well as potash salts, apatite-magnetite, apatite-staffelite, low-iron apatite, apatite-nepheline, apatite and phosphorite ores is being changed.

In addition, it is planned to increase the size of the state fee for actions related to the registration of medicines for medical use and biomedical cellular products. A state fee is established for performing actions related to the provision, reissue and confirmation of a permit for the use of an unregistered medical device for in vitro diagnostics.
