Vladimir Putin: The minimum wage will increase by almost 2 times by 2030

The minimum wage in the Russian Federation by 2030 should increase by almost 2 times to 35 thousand rubles. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, delivering a message to the Federal Assembly.

The Head of State instructed the Government of the Russian Federation in 2025 to work out a new model of remuneration for public sector employees within the framework of pilot projects in the subjects of the Russian Federation. In 2026, it will be necessary to make a final decision in this area for the whole country.

The problem of poverty directly affects more than 9% of the Russian population, and by 2030 it is necessary to achieve a level below 7%, Vladimir Putin stressed.
