The introduction of the digital ruble will allow insurers to form new customer paths and reduce operating costs. This was stated by Olga Sorokina, a member of the board of directors of the VSK Insurance House, during the Central Bank's financial congress, the company said in a statement.
At the testing stage, there is a limit on the payment amount of 5 thousand rubles. Since 2023, VSK has been involved in piloting with boxed VMI and CASCO products that meet this requirement. The effectiveness of the new tool was confirmed during testing.
"In the future, we are counting on the digital ruble in the processes of B2B interaction, the budget process, especially in the area of public procurement. We would like to participate in the development of an experiment on B2B payments using the digital ruble, we are ready to share our own experience, offer relevant cases and demonstrate the problems in the field of accounts receivable that are currently present in these processes," O.Sorokina emphasized, quoted in the message.
