In January-November 2022, VTB allocated about 3 billion rubles for the implementation of its own social programs. The Bank provides support to families within the framework of the strategic initiative "Family Capital". This is stated in the bank's message.

Since the beginning of the year, VTB has allocated almost 300 million rubles to support families with children. In particular, the bank additionally transferred more than 220 million rubles to families who received federal child benefits on the VTB card, including new payments for a child aged 8-17 years. In addition, thanks to the bank's support, 1.2 thousand large families have saved about 50 million rubles on mortgage payments this year alone.

VTB also issued insurance for children and their parents at its own expense. More than 50 thousand children received financial protection from the bank in case of critical illnesses or injuries during the summer holidays under the state program. Those who received child benefits for the first time on the bank card, VTB insured free of charge against the actions of fraudsters – the bank sent 30 million rubles for these purposes. from their own funds. In autumn, when buying tours under the state program of tourist cashback, VTB issued accident insurance for the whole family for the duration of the trip at its own expense.

The bank provides financial assistance to clients receiving pension payments to the VTB card and charges 7% per annum on the account balance up to 100 thousand rubles on a monthly basis. Since the beginning of the year, additional interest payments have amounted to 1.7 billion rubles. The Bank also supported the older generation of clients who transferred the pension transfer to the VTB card, with lump-sum payments of almost 900 million rubles. VTB also issued insurance cards for pensioners against fraudsters at its own expense.

The total amount of assistance to the older generation for the year is about 2.6 billion rubles.

VTB launched the Family capital strategy in June 2022. It is aimed at supporting Russian families at all stages of their development: from the birth of a child to the payment of a pension and includes both the necessary financial and government services, as well as additional benefits and assistance from the bank.
