VTB plans to sell its 25.01% stake in the Northern Capital Air Gate, the operator of Pulkovo Airport, owned by the bank. Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the Management Board of the bank, told about this at the WEF-2025, Vedomosti writes.

VTB has not received any interesting offers so far, the top manager added. "We are negotiating slowly, we have interviewed everyone who could potentially be (interested). Someone has no money, someone suggests merging into a common corporation, but we are not interested in being a 5% co-owner at five airports," Kostin said.

According to him, among the interested parties for the bank's share in the St. Petersburg airport are those who considered acquiring the Moscow Domodedovo Airport, which has passed into state ownership.

The Northern Capital Air Gate Company took over Pulkovo in 2010 for 30 years as part of a concession agreement between the Air Force, the government of St. Petersburg and its owned Pulkovo. The ownership structure of the operating company has changed several times.

Pulkovo Airport is an international airport located 15 km from the center of St. Petersburg in the Moskovsky district.
