WEB.The Russian Federation has started financing the Tver Carriage Building Plant (TVZ, part of TMH JSC) project for the production of new passenger cars. The loan agreement on the provision of concessional financing in the amount of 7.5 billion rubles was concluded in June 2024. This is stated in the bank's message.
The project is implemented using the "Cluster Investment Platform" mechanism, the total budget of the project is 9.37 billion rubles. The project provides for the production of domestic electric trains with localized critical components and assemblies. The investment phase of the project will last three years, until June 2027.
To date, the total cost of projects approved by the Interdepartmental Commission for the Selection of projects within the framework of the CIP, in which VEB is expected to participate.The Russian Federation, is about 130 billion rubles, the planned participation of VEB.Russia — about 83 billion rubles.
