VTB will provide financing in the amount of 2.64 billion rubles for a period of 5 years to restore the recreation center and create a premium thermal complex Smolyachkovo Place in the resort area of the Leningrad region. The corresponding agreement was signed by Ruslan Eremenko, a member of the VTB Management Board, and Vyacheslav Semenenko, General Director of Mesto Smolyachkovo LLC, as part of SPIEF 2025. This is stated in the message of the bank.
The complex is located in a pine forest on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, 40 minutes from the center of St. Petersburg. The facility includes modern thermal baths, a 119-room hotel and secluded cabins. In addition to the creation of a modern thermal complex, it is planned to restore the recreation center with expanded functionality. The concept will be based on large outdoor and indoor thermal baths, available to the public all year round.
There will be several restaurants on site with menus based on local and farm products, bread and pastries from their own bakery. Sports grounds, bicycle and roller skate rentals, as well as special play areas for children will be available at the resort. The key feature of the project is the availability of a medical function and the provision of wellness services that complement the concept of the thermal complex.
