From 2024, large systemically important companies will disclose reports under the new European directive. The directives will be adopted on November 28. This was stated by the Head of the Corporate Relations Development Department of the Corporate Relations Department of the Bank of Russia Andrey Yakushin at the Second All-Russian Conference "NON-FINANCIAL REPORTING".

The regulator conducted some analysis of the Russian companies of 69 PAO (included in the quotation lists): almost all companies from the quotation list were included in the information on sustainable development. They did this either in the annual reports or issued a separate report. The leaders in individual reports are metallurgists. Somewhere less than half of the Central Bank assessed as a more or less balanced disclosure of ESG.

According to him, non-financial reporting is important not only for investors, but also for a wide range of people. There are no requirements for such reporting in the Russian Federation yet. In the world, this process, although it has gained high momentum in the development of this standard, it has not yet been completed.

The Second All-Russian Conference "NON-FINANCIAL REPORTING" is taking place in Moscow on November 25. A distinctive feature of this event is the consideration of purely practical issues of implementing standards and preparing reports on sustainable development.
